Student Visa Requirement

This is a simple Germany student visa application checklist for students who want to study in Germany from Bangladesh. Required documents may vary depending on the applicant’s profile.

1. Passport:

Original passport valid for at least 12 months beyond the intended stay with a minimum of two blank pages. If you need a passport, please click here.

2. Visa Application Form:

Duly completed and signed German student visa application form.

3. Photo Specification:

Recent color passport-size photograph (35 mm x 45 mm) with white background.

4. Covering Letter:

Cover letter detailing applicant information, passport details, study plan, travel details, and explanation of financial support.

5. Confirmation of Enrollment:

Official admission letter from a recognized German university or accredited educational institution (Scholarship certificate if applicable).

6. Tuition Fees Payment Receipt:

Proof of tuition fee payment (if required by the institution).

7. Academic Documents:

All academic certificates and transcripts must be submitted to the Embassy / VAC as required.

8. Financial Means:

Proof of sufficient financial resources (Block Account) as per German regulations. The required amount may vary yearly (approximately EUR 10,000+).

9. Health Insurance:

Valid health insurance covering the full duration of stay in Germany.

10. Birth Certificate:
